المهارات المطلوبة

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

  • Maintains and balances GL accounts- By verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance & reconciling entry.
  • Data Entering and analyzing-Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • External auditors and annual financial statements. Lead; coordinate the year-end audit exercise by providing the external auditors with the requirements. Prepare the annual financial statements, and review the final draft with the auditors
  • Periodic Financial system closing - Finalize and close the financial system (ERP oracle) within 3 business days including sub ledgers reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist to prepare the annual budgeting and planning exercise - Finalize budgeting and planning activities as per the budget timeline.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets (Budgetary control), PO approvals.
  • Manage the information flow across all internal stakeholders and enable individual businesses to take tactical decisions using up to date information, Timely and accurate communication with all internal stakeholders.
  • Managing Oracle ERP- Maintaining and fixing Oracle ERP and coordinating with IT Section if any development needed

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Understanding of accounting theory.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or similar field.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyse cash flow and the impact on the financial statements.
  • Proficiency with ERP applications.
  • Familiarity with bank cash management systems.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs
  • Job related Skills: Highly numerate, with developed analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Attention to detail with very strong accuracy.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Ability to work with GMCo Heads and senior management to translate business strategy into financial plans and budgets.
  • Ability to provide an appropriate framework for the development of the budget manual, planning calendar and planning process to monitors compliance.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
